My Summer Reading List 2017 – Some Oldies from the Library

Summer is finally here! Which means that very soon almost all of Sweden will be going on holidays. For most of July there is a mass exodus here in Stockholm. Most locals escape to their summer houses and many of the businesses, shops and restaurants close. Including the local library. How I spent Christmas in Australia

After getting into the Christmas spirit in Stockholm, I was ready to head home and spend some time with my family and friends. Of course catching up with my loved ones was the highlight of the trip, but brunch came in a close second! Australian coffee and breakfasts are something I really miss about being away so it’s one of the first things I do when I go home.

Way Out West 2016

We ended our second summer in Europe the same way we finished our first. By going to the Way Out West music festival in Gothenburg (Göteborg), Sweden. We had such a great time last year that we thought it would be the perfect way to finish our amazing summer road trip. Second Chances and Finishing Strong

Day 19 – Switzerland

After leaving Chamonix we made a quick visit to Lucerne in Switzerland to meet some friends from Stockholm. Unfortunately, we were only able to spend a few hours there. We still had a lot of distance to cover before finishing this amazing summer road trip back in Sweden. Switzerland is definitely somewhere I’d love to go back to, it was so pretty. Cars, Gelato, Waffles and Mountains

day 15 & 16 – it’s all about cars

After leaving Bologna we headed across to Maranello to check out the Ferrari Museum. All the cars from old to new were beautifully displayed and I learnt a lot about the history of Ferrari in a really interesting way.
