What is Breathwork?
Breathwork can be defined as the conscious manipulation of the breath to achieve a desired outcome through a mind body connection. There are many different techniques out there and navigating your way through them can be challenging. Over the years I have tried a number of different styles, but there are two practices that I keep coming back to, time and time again. One focuses more on nervous system regulation, Breathwork (Pranayama) and the other nourishes a deeper connection to my inner self, Breathwork Healing. After immersing myself in these practices personally over the years, and witnessing the profound shifts I experienced, I’m inspired me to share these tools with others. I believe everyone deserves access to the transformative power of their own breath. So, In very simple terms, I offer two types of Breathwork sessions, one can be used daily to find balance and calm and the other can be tapped into when needed to find space, deep connection and healing. In a typical 45-minute session, we'll discuss your goals. I’ll introduce you to different breathwork techniques and meditations and help you to build your own practice. Every session will include a guided breath practice and a meditation from me, aiming to leave you feeling, calm, clear and grounded. If you choose to work with me over a number of sessions then we can adapt and adjust the techniques depending on what works best for you when you practice on your own. My aim is to provide you with practical tools of support to take into your everyday life.

This deeper, more somatic Breathwork practice encourages you to fully feel and release old, stored emotions without judgment or overthinking. Often leading to profound shifts in your emotional and energetic state. While it can be more intense, the after-effects are often described as feelings of joy, spaciousness, and deep gratitude.
The technique itself is an active, two part breath that helps to quiet the mind and connect you back to your body. Some similar techniques are Wim Hof, Psychadelic Breath or Holotropic Breathing. Although I find this style of Breathwork Healing to be softer and more nourishing. Every 75 minute session involves guided instruction, active breathing, intentional music and verbal support, rest, and integration to allow the shifts and insights to settle in. We will take some time at the beginning to talk through your goals, blockages, and intentions. I'm passionate about creating a safe and supportive environment for you to explore where the breath takes you. My intention is to empower you to connect with your inner wisdom and unlock your full potential.
